When you restock the kitchen with nothing but healthy food choices, you are making it easier on yourself to make good choices when it comes to your eating. <p>Are you tired of trying diets advertised on television and not having any success?  Maybe you are tired of seeing all of these fit individuals and wondering how they can do it when you have tried every diet known to man?  There are many reasons you are seeking a diet that will help you lose weight and keep it off.  The idea behind many of the diets is to lose weight quickly.  In order to do this you are often eliminating a part of your diet, but once you have lost the weight you go back to your old habits.  This definitely will not work.  <b>Exercising and dieting</b> is the true combination of losing weight.  The thing you have to remember when <i>exercising and dieting</i> is that you may not start to lose weight immediately.  In fact, you are probably noticing an increase on the scale.</p>
<p>You see when you use a combination of <u>exercising and dieting</u> you are eating less while increasing your muscles.  Muscle weighs more than fat.  This is a proven fact.  Therefore, when you are exercising and dieting you are burning the less weighty fat and increasing your muscles.  This means you are losing inches rather than losing weight initially.  While you are still bound to lose some weight chances are you may not reach your ideal weight and still look fabulous.  I can tell you from experience that I tend to gain weight at first when I am exercising and dieting, the difference is I can fit into pants that I could not before.</p>
<p>While you are trading one type of weight for another during exercising and dieting, you will realize you feel better.  You fit your clothes better and you are once again a size eight or size two, whatever you may have been before.  When you consider exercising and dieting, you can control the amount of muscle you create.  The idea is to work every part of your body, but not over working those aspects.  You need to work the muscles to help burn fat by lifting weights and countering this with cardio exercises. </p>
<p>In order to actually lose weight as well as increase your looks you need to find a combination that works.  You may find that three days a week of exercising is too much once you have gotten back to your ideal body type.  In order to keep your body type you will have to tone with exercising and dieting, but you may reduce that to two days a week.</p>
<p>Another part of exercising and dieting includes the food you eat.  The food you eat should be in proportion to your body.  This means you may just reduce the amount of food you eat at a meal to have less calories during the day or you may eliminate some foods from your diet such as sweets and carbohydrates.  What ever you choose, you need to be aware of the dangers of exercising and dieting too much.  You also want to understand how to use the exercise equipment to avoid injury to yourself.</p>

<p>First, how many of you have tried a diet and found it to be unsuccessful or only successful while you stick to the plan?  I bet there are, at least, seventy percent of those reading this article that have found those results.  This is why there are several types of dieting plans out there.  You are given a choice in dieting plans so you can find what is most successful and healthy for you.  In other words, when you consider a dieting plan you need to understand your body and pick a dieting plan that works for you.  While the dieting plan may not work for everyone, there is a plan out there for you.</p>
<p>Questions you should ask when considering a dieting plan are as follows:</p>
<p>Do you eat a lot of carbohydrates?  If yes consider a dieting plan with less carbohydrates, but do not cut them out altogether.</p>
<p>Do you find you crave certain foods when you are on a diet?  Depending on the foods you crave you should add them to your diet.  I am a person who craves a lot of fruit during the spring and summer, but during winter I feel the need for a lot of sweets.  When choosing a dieting plan I need to concentrate on these cravings, not to eat the sweets, but to make allowances for the occasional need.</p>
<p>Do you find you crave fewer sweets when you exercise?  If this is the case, you will find dieting plans that do not include sweets as part of the plan important.  You will also find you might want to increase your exercise program to be more frequent in eliminating these cravings when you are not exercising.</p>
<p>Have you tried dieting plans where you concentrate on the amount of protein you eat and found it ineffective?  If you have a certain body type that requires less carbohydrates you should concentrate on counting carbohydrates rather than protein.  While you still need a certain amount of protein and you may lack in that amount, carbohydrates are more important in helping you <b>lose weight</b>.  </p>
<p>Have you tried dieting plans with liquid forms of sustenance only to find they are not working?  Most liquid diets fail because a person is not receiving enough calories during the day or the healthy foods they need.  While certain liquids can help you diet you really need to concentrate on having a well-rounded diet rather than one area.  Often times people find that they do not like the liquid drinks and revert back to their old ways.</p>
<p>No matter who you are, you need to find dieting plans that works for you.  You do not want a diet that you follow for a few weeks while you <i>lose weight</i> and then revert back to your old eating habits because you will gain all the weight back.  The idea is to find dieting plans that works for you as a person not for the masses.</p>

<p>The Atkins diet and many other low carb diets have told you to eliminate <b>carbohydrates</b> completely.  They have told you to have an all protein diet, but did this work for everyone?  Did it cause health problems?  In some cases yes, these low carb diets were found to be detrimental to a person’s health.  The idea of <i>carbohydrates</i> in dieting is important.  You need to understand how they can be beneficial and in what instances they may not be.  You need to understand your body before you can begin any diet, especially those diets where <u>carbohydrates</u> are discussed in dieting.  Carbohydrates in dieting have been found to cause weight gain rather than weight loss.</p>
<p>First, you should understand our body’s burn carbohydrates in the form of sugar.  This means you gain a lot of energy from carbohydrates, but the sugar causes you to create fat on your body.  Therefore, to eliminate weight gain in the fat area you need to monitor the amount of carbohydrates while dieting.  Carbohydrates in dieting means that you seek a physician’s advice on how many carbohydrates you can have in one day.  Some individuals who have problems with carbohydrates in dieting may be having too many.  </p>
<p>You see each body reacts differently to carbohydrates.  One person may be able to have as many as possible without feeling any affects except for weight gain.   A person who has trouble with carbohydrates in dieting or even in regular life may feel faint, dizzy, or even have the shakes due to too many carbohydrates in their diet.  Therefore, a person in this category may need less than forty-six grams of carbs per meal to feel healthy.</p>
<p>Therefore, you need to monitor your intake of carbohydrates when dieting.  Most food will tell you how many carbohydrates are in a meal.  This will help you monitor your intake of carbohydrates when dieting.  Carbohydrates in dieting should be kept to a minimum if you wish to loose the most amount of weight.  Such things as ice cream, candy bars, chocolate, bread, and other high carbohydrate foods should be eliminated fro your diet.  I would not say all together eliminated, but at least monitored.</p>
<p>There are recent studies of good carbs versus bad carbs.  In order to understand these studies you should read on both sides of the fence to determine what might be a productive carbohydrate in dieting.  Carbohydrates in protein foods may be beneficial while those that are specifically full of carbohydrates such as candy are not.  Other things to consider when looking at carbohydrates in dieting are the amount of exercise you do and the amount of food you eat.  </p>
<p>You always want to feel comfortable after you eat, which means you do not want to be hungry or over full.  Eating fewer portions of a meal or the carbohydrates in your meals will help you monitor your carbohydrates in dieting.  Eating fewer potatoes or other carbohydrates will help for a well-rounded meal of the foods most important during your diet. </p>

<p>First of all, having health related issues do to dieting are very common.  A less extreme example of the <u>dangers of dieting</u> can be seen in the old grapefruit diet.  It was thought that if you ate a grapefruit for breakfast everyday you would lose weight.  This was of course in combination with a decent lunch and a well-rounded dinner.  You were also supposed to be exercising during this time.  Well most individuals who tried the grapefruit diet now have intolerance to acidic foods.  This means they cannot drink acidic juices or even eat highly acidic fruit like grapefruit or oranges without having medical issues.  It could just be stomach pain or diarrhea, however it can be as serious as developing an allergy to the food where you constantly get sick from eating it.</p>
<p>Other dangers of dieting may include loosing bone mass.  If you lose weight in a very short amount of time chances are you are losing bone mass, especially if you lack calcium on the diet you have chosen.  Bone mass is important for our health because a lack of it can cause brittle bone disease or osteoporosis.</p>
<p>If you chose the wrong diet plan where you are not eating enough, you run the risk of becoming anorexic.  This means you will lose a lot of your weight, including muscles.  This is perhaps one of the most important dangers of dieting you need to be aware of.  You need to eat enough food to sustain your life.  While anorexia is consider a psychological disorder it can be brought on during dieting.  You may feel you are not losing enough weight, even though you have.  If you experience this danger of dieting, you should seek help immediately from a physician.</p>
<p>Another popular way of dieting is the diet pill.  This is an extreme danger of dieting.  Diet pills tend to become addictive whether it is because of their properties, as nicotine is addictive or related more to the psychological elements.  Some substances have been known to create a chemical imbalance in your brain.  This chemical imbalance will make you want to take the pills even when you have lost enough weight or it could cause a disorder.</p>
<p>There are certain disorders you may be genetically predisposed towards where you will lose weight or gain weight.  Diet pills or other dieting methods and therefore fall under the dangers of dieting can affect these types of disorders.  Such disorders may include hyper and hypothyroidism.  These disorders while in treatment can cause a fluctuation in weight.  You have to be on certain drugs to help regulate these disorders sometimes and these pills can interfere with other methods of dieting such as diet pills.</p>

This means you limit your intake of alcohol from your diet, but having a drink now and then is fine.  If you want to go out and drink on the weekend every once in a while then you are fine in doing so.</p>
<p>Alcohol and dieting just means that you are watching what you have.  You are making sure to reduce the bad foods such as high carbohydrate foods, while increasing the more healthy foods such as protein, fruits, and vegetables.  When you diet, you want to increase your health.  Here are a few facts about alcohol and dieting.  First alcohol contains 7 calories per gram.  This means alcohol contains nearly twice the amount of carbohydrates than other drinks you may have or food you eat during a diet.  </p>
<p>Another thing to consider when you think of alcohol and dieting is your calorie intake.  It is common knowledge that when you watch your calorie intake and the foods you eat you will lose weight without trying.  That is as long as you reduce the amount of calories you are eating from before.  Most individuals have a target caloric intake that they need to hit.  This means if you are eating 2000 calories a day and gaining weight you are eating too much.</p>
<p>In order to really improve when considering alcohol and dieting you must watch your calories.  If you have the calories left to have a glass of wine or a beer then you should feel free to do so.  On the other hand, you may even plan to have the calories left over for a drink at the end of the day.  It just means you may have to sacrifice something else during your diet.  You may not be able to have dessert with your meal or you may have to eat less for breakfast.  The idea behind alcohol and dieting is to eliminate the source of weight gain wherever you can, which means you need to eliminate the alcohol. </p>
